“as Chinese experts entered the site, Ndola stadium project finally became a reality yesterday. An Hui Foreign Economic Construction (Group)Co.,ltd, which will undertake the construction task ,takes over the construction site ,and starts formally calculate construction period. The project is expected to complete within 26 months. Permanent secretary of Copper Belt province, Zambia, attended the site handover ceremony, and in his speech, he urged the Zambia’s workers to adapt themselves to the work pace of Chinese enterprise to assure of the completion of works on time. Chinese President, Hu Jintao and the late president of Zambia, Mwanawasa in 2006, initiatively proposed this stadium project”, Zambia Times reported.
