1.On Dec.28^th 2007, Sogecoa Caribbean Ltd officially signed a general contract for Grand Harbor project in Grenada.

2.In accordance with the authorization of the Ministry of Commerce, on Dec. 20^th 2007 the Chinese Economic & Commercial Counselor’s Office in Mozambique issued a letter numbered 046 (2007) officially confirming that AFECC would be contractor to implement the aided Mozambique village school project.

3.On Dec.18^th 2007, a commencing ceremony of the Myanmar International Conference Center undertaken by AFECC was held symbolically in Nay Pyi Taw.

4.On Dec. 3^rd 2007, Xinhua News on website (Maputo) published an article titled “Chinese construction company in Mozambique gains trust” reporting about achievements made by Sogecoa Mozambique Ltd in Mozambique.

5.In Nov.2007 AFECC launched a public donation activity of “send warmth and offer love”, as a result of which in a short period of time, total donation amounted to RMB97,800.00 yuan. Based on this individual donation, AFECC contributed RMB80,000.00 yuan for people of disaster-stricken area.

6.In order to fulfill 8 moves for strengthening pragmatic cooperation between China & Africa declared by Chinese party in the Chinese-African Cooperative Forum-Beijing Summit, on Nov.16^th 2007 in the People’s Great Hall in Beijing the Ministry of Commerce etc was holding a departure ceremony for Chinese experts and youth volunteers giving aid to Africa. Ms. Wu Yi, vice Premier of State Council and Mr. Bo Xilai, Minister of Commerce attended the ceremony, sending off 100 experts and youth volunteers who were about to leave for Africa in support of African economic development and providing medical service. Mr. Jiang Qingde, president of AFECC was also present the ceremony.

7.On Nov. 8^th 2007, an economic & trade delegation, led by Mr. Jiang Zengwei, vice Minister of Commerce, visited the newly-completed modification and expansion project of Chinese Economic & Commercial Counselor's Office building in France.

8.On Nov.2^nd 2007 as a main venue for state head Summit of African Union, Madagascar 5 Star Hotel undertaken by AFECC was formally commenced. Chinese newly-appointed Ambassador to Madagascar and others attended the opening ceremony.

9.On Oct. 27^th 2007, the modification and expansion project of Chinese Economic & Commercial Counselor's Office building in France sucessfully passed completion inspection for acceptance and was rated as “high grade construction, excellent work”.

10.Handing-over ceremony of Ethiopian Technical & Vocational Education & Training College undertaken by AFECC was held on Oct.9^th 2007, Mr. Lin Lin, Chinese Ambassador and Minister of Education of Ethiopia signed a handing-over certificate on behalf of respective governments.

11.In Sept.2007, Mr. Fu Ziying, Minister Assistant of Commerce and his delegation visited Sogecoa Mozambique Ltd.

12.On Sept.17^th 2007, AFECC was awarded 54 villas of Grand Harbor Resort of Grenada.

13.Between 27/08/2007 and 01/09/2007, swimming match of 13th South Pacific Games was held in Samoa Aquatic Center constructed by AFECC. According to Samoa Observer ( local well known newspaper) it was the best Aquatic Center in south Pacific area.

14.On Aug.10^th 2007, AFECC officially signed a contract with Mozambique party for implementation of Mozambique International Airport project.

15.In July 2007, some region of Anhui province was stricken by heavy flood, AFECC actively carried out a donation activity of “compassion for disaster area”, in which everybody offered his or her loving care for disaster-displaced people, the value of total donation both in cash and goods was over RMB80,000.00 yuan approximately. Hence the Commercial Dept of Anhui Province specially sent a letter of thanks for the donation act of AFECC.

16. In July 2007, AFECC was awarded the aided project of Myanmar International Conference Center.

17.Mr. Marc, President of Madagascar, met with Mr. Jiang Qingde, President of AFECC and his delegation at 10:00 am of July 30^th 2007 and both parties had an amicable and friendly talk.

18. Foundation stone laying ceremony of Madagascar Five-star Hotel undertaken by AFECC was held on July 28^th 2007. Many government officals of various levels attended this ceremony, among whom were Prime Minister of Madagascar, Ministers of Territory, Tourism, Energy Sources, Presidential consultant etc. Chinese Economic & Trade delegation, led by Mr. Cong Quan, Minister Assistant of Commerce was also present the ceremony.

19. On July 20^th 2007, Mr. Tian Weiqian, vice governor of Anhui Province led an Economic & Trade delegation on a visit to Barbados and inspected AFECC Branch Co. in Barbados.

20.On July 14^th 2007, CPC delegation, headed by Mr. Wang Dongming, vice Minister of Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, accompanied by Mr. Lin, Chinese ambassador to Ethiopia, inspected Ethiopian technical & vocational education & training college undertaken by AFECC.

21.Civilization Office Head Meeting of China National Construction Circles was held in the Golden Peacock Spa Tourism Resort on July 11^th 2007. The charming natural scene and spa within the resort were highly praised by Ms. Fu Wenjuan, vice Minister of Construction, and Mr. Yao Bing, group leader in the Ministry of Construction assigned by Central Discipline Inspection Committee of the CPC, and representatives present the meeting.

22.On July 7^th 2007, at the invitation of Senate and House of Representatives of Grenada’s Parliament, Ms. Gu Xiulian, vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of NPC, visited Grenada and at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Sports of Grenada, inspected Grenada National Stadium undertaken by AFECC, which could be called No. 1 majestic structure, and people of Grenada are proud of .

23. In June 2007, AFECC Committee of CPC was rated “Advanced grass roots Party organization directly under Anhui Provincial organ” by work Committee of Anhui provincial organ of CPC. AFECC Committee of CPC, No. 1 Party group of No. 1 Party Branch, 8 Party members named Ms. Tian Shiyue, Mr. Zhou Changhan, Ms. Jiang Dairu, Mr. Cheng Qingshan etc were rated “Advanced grass roots Party organization”, “excellent Communist Party Member” and “excellent personnel in Party affairs” respectively by Construction Department directly affiliaterd organ committee of Anhui Province.

24.In June 2007 AFECC was honourably ranked Anhui Hundred Top Enterprises for 2007 at provincial level in terms of economic strength by Anhui Enterprise’s Association after 2 months assessment, which had undergone necessary procedures such as application, declaration and index auditing.

25.On June 15^th 2007, Mr. Jiang Zengwei, vice Minister of Commerce, inspected AFECC and listened to work report as well as introduction on AFECC’s development, he expressed his affirmation and encouragement for AFECC’s achievements and future development.

26.On June 6^th 2007, Mr. Wei Jianguo, vice Minister of Commerce, inspected AFECC and expressed his satisfaction with its achievements, in the meantime put forward higher hopes and requirements.

27.On June 5^th 2007, Foundation stone laying ceremony of Barbados Clearwater Bay Villa project undertaken by AFECC was held, Minister of Tourism & International Transportation of Barbados attended this ceremony.

28.On June 4^th 2007, Ethiopian technical & vocational education & training college project undertaken by AFECC was rated “Excellent”at completion acceptance.

29.On May 9^th 2007, MBS project in Maputo undertaken by AFECC was completed successfully. Mr. Guebuza, President of Mozambique, and Chinese new Ambassador to Mozambique attended this completion ceremony. MBS with a total architectural area of over 20000 s.q.m becomes one of important symbolic buildings in Mozambique. Mr. Guebuza, President of Mozambique, in his speech praised highly AFECC for its serious responsibility and excellent work quality and believed that MBS would become another historical eyewitness for friendship between China & Mozambique.

30.On 27 April, 2007, a delegation comprising 5 persons, headed by Mr. Wang Heming, leader of discipline inspection team in the Ministry of Commerce assigned by Central Discipline Inspection Committee of the CPC, accompanied by Mr. Han Tiecheng, counselor of Chinese Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office in France,.visited the modification & expansion project of Chinese Economic & Commercial Counselor's Office building in France undertaken by AFECC.

31.On 9^th April 2007, International Commercial Daily published an article titled “Song of youth written in a foreign land” to recall Mr. Jiang Zhaoqing, vice president of AFECC.

32.Foundation stone laying ceremony for project of Maputo airport’s modification and expansion was held on April 05, 2007. Mr. Guebuza, President of Mozambique, Ministers from Ministries of Transportation, Finance and Tourism etc, and Mr. Chen Changhe, counselor of Chinese Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office in Mozambique attended this ceremony.

33.On 4^th April 2007, Chinese government delegation for economic & trade, headed by Mr. Fu Ziying, Minister Assistant of Commerce, accompanied by Mr. Han Tiecheng, Counselor of Chinese Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office in France, inspected the modification & expansion project of Chinese Economic & Commercial Counselor's Office building in France.

34. On April 4^th 2007, high-leveled delegation, headed by Mr. Li Changchun, CPC leader and Mr. Wang Jiarui, Minister of International Department, Central Committee of CPC inspected Samoa Aquatic Center undertaken by AFECC during a visit in Samoa. Above leaders highly praised the project and had photos taken with entire project manpowers.

35. On April 2^nd, 2007, China Construction Daily in its enterprise’s culture column published an article titled “Grasp overall situation in ideology, & promote enterprise development”, recommending AFECC’s experiences and achievements made in the aspects of political & ideology work.

36.On April 1^st, 2008, an ideology inquiry & research group for foreign aid personnel, headed by Mr. Wang Bingnan, executive vice Party secretary of  the Ministry of Commerce, visited and inspected Madagascar International Conference Center project.

37.On 26^th March., 2007, Sogecoa Caribbean Ltd launched a foundation stone laying ceremony.

38.On 12^th March, 2007, Mr. Wendson, vice Minister of Education, Ethiopia, Mr. Lin, Chinese Ambassador to Ethiopia and Mr. Liu, Counselor of Chinese Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office in Ethiopia visited and inspected AFECC’s project site in Ethiopia. Mr. Wendson highly praised the integral effect given by this project and indicated that it would become a symbolic building in the  country.

39.In Feb.2007, Froeign Aid Dept. of the Ministry of Commerce sent a letter of appreciation to AFECC for its initiative  in foreign affairs and active contributions made to strengthening friendly relationship between China & Madagascar. The letter highly praised AFECC because it had greatly valued politics, overall situations and strictly followed the order of “Immediate Commencement” given by the Ministry of Commerce in the course of implementation of Chinese-aided project of Madagascar International Conference Center when the condition for work commencement was not yet available. This embodied that AFECC, reliable in politics, perfect in technique, and good at tough fight, is an excellent foreign aid construction team.

40.On 15^th Feb.2007, The International Business Daily briefly reported in an article titled “AFECC has a deep longing for Africa” the symposium of Chinese invested enterprises in Africa, which Mr. Hu Jintao, Chinese Chairman, attended on his state visit to Namibia and AFECC, as a representative of Chinese invested enterprise in Africa was also present.

41. On 8^th Feb.2007, Mr. Hu Jintao, Chinese Chairman, visited Mozambique. During his visit our Sogecoa Mozambique Limited fulfilled various reception tasks entrusted by Chinese Embassy and Chinese Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office in Mozambique and obtained their and other leaders’s recognition and praise.

42.On 6^th Feb. 2007, Mr. Hu Jintao, Chinese Chairman, on a state visit to Namibia attended a symposium of representatives of Chinese invested enterprises in African and delivered an important speech. Ms. Yu Xiaofeng, vice president of AFECC, took part in this meeting and made a speech.

43.A handing-over ceremony of Grenada National Stadium undertaken by AFECC was held in the morning of 3^rd Feb. 2007. The delegation of Chinese government’s economic and trade, Grenada’s British Royal Viceroy and Prime Minister were present the ceremony, which was televised live by Chinese CCTV and Grenadian medias.

44.In Jan.2007, Hope Engineering Office of Anhui province awarded a medal of “Love and Charities Unit” to AFECC.

45.In January 2007, aided projects of both Grenada National Stadium and Parliament Members’ House of Cote d’Ivoire constructed by AFECC won the titles of excellent works, which shall be attributed to the reasons that AFECC always sticked to politics and considered overall situation, hence overcame a lot of difficulties in the course of the projects implementation. Chinese Embassies both to Grenada and Cote d’Ivoire wrote on-the-spot reports about the work progress and commendatory letters sending to China for the state diplomatic achievements made by AFECC. Therefore an article titled prominent work effect achieved by AFECC in Chinese-aided projects was published on a government administration document with reference number 1 (2007) handled by People’s Government of Anhui Province. Mr. Wang Jinshan, secretary of Anhui prvincial committee of CPC wrote comments on it which reads that AFECC gained high and hard-won prestige abroad, therefore he hoped that it shall make persistent efforts and strive to win more victories in the new year for the glory of both China and Anhui.

46. On 18^th Jan.2007, Anhui Commercial Department sent a congratulatory message and congratulations on AFECC’s being rated as the top three achievements made in foreign economic turnover of Anhui province in 2006.
